Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced accounting professional to join our team! In this role, you will report directly to the President and be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting transactions of our clients. You will also oversee monthly financial statement closings using Sage 300 CRE, Sage Inventory Management, and Dashboards. Your leadership will guide three direct reports in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and office clerical tasks. Additionally, you will provide weekly projections and statements to the owner, manage fund transfers, handle multi-state setups, maintain depreciation schedules for vehicles and equipment, and ensure HR compliance and effective 401(k) management.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction accounting position (mechanical or roofing preferred)
Proficiency in Sage 300 CRE
Experience with Sage Inventory Management
Knowledge of multi-state accounting and business setup
